What can I say that the pix above don't already say better?
This model is Superb the
best of the best. The body integrity is first rate. The detailing
is magnficent. It has great "roll" but the road feel isn't
very good because unfortunately it has hard plastic wheels.
(Refer to pix above) This Jaguar has everything that I look
for in a model; mainly detailed grille, bumpers, parking lights,
tailights and well appointed interior. The tailights look
a little amber rather than red but they tell me that's not unusual
for early sixties model Jaguars. It has mirrorized caps on the
headlight portals. Most Jaguars didn't come with those but
tinted portal caps became a popular add-on for sports cars
like this one in the later sixties. The interior is fantastic. The colour is perfect for the soft glove leather that would be the interior of a sports car like this one. And the colour is a perfect contrast to the emerald green body. Unfortunately they did a wonderful job molding the interior including putting instruments on the dashboard but they didn't finish the details. Someday when I am feeling extra confident I may send this model to the custom shop for just a tiny bit of touch up on the interior. They also included contrasting carpet on the floor. I have rarely seen a better interior than this one in a model. The wheels sport wire wheel covers and they did a nice job with them. It also has dual fender-mounted side view mirrors. And they took the time to chrome them. They aren't just gray plastic like the side view mirrors on most diecast models. In addition they did a nice job putting the "Jaguar" on the deck lid and they went above and beyond the call of duty by putting the Jaguar logo on the hood. Nothing on this model opens, but that's ok I can undestand why it doesn't. Other than that the pictures speak for themselves. The only drawbacks are tiny ones such as no finishing on the dash and interior details and it's such a GREAT model it SHOULD have rubber tires. Other than that it's about perfect. I give this model FIVE STARS.
