The Village Idiot

May 2000 Issue - Volume1 - Number 3 - Issue 3

Well it's been a long haul but here we are the third issue of The Village Idiot. First let me point out some small things that were wrong in the April issue.

I apologize for that dead link back to the cover from the featured diecasts last month. That's been fixed now. And that statement I made in the article on the 1/43 Scale Chevelle where I said it's the model that was used in the pic on the front.

Well that was true when it was written. That was before we had our conversion to a magazine format completed and that was referring to the former pix that used to be on the index page. The pic in question is now on the Pix page where you can check it out.

I found myself spending more time in Village construction and less time in the custom shop this month and this issue reflects that.

Oddly when I was in the custom shop I was working on people not cars or buildings. Some of my custom works in progress are featured in the "Buy the people..." article. Well that's enough from me turn the page and enjoy!

The little pic at the top features Life-Like Railrioad people looking in the window of "Uptown Motors" by Department 56. (The Ford Dealership)
They are looking at the 1965 Mustang that comes with it. If you click on the pic you can see a larger version of it.
